IRAQ COMMUNICATES: The delegation of Resource Agribusiness Group Visited the Baghdad International Fair

From January 10 to 19, 2024, the 47th session of the International Fair takes place in Baghdad. The Fair is one of the largest trade exhibition events in Iraq and is held under the patronage of the country's Prime Minister. Its slogan (Iraq Communicates) is intended to emphasize the openness and numerous opportunities of the country’s market both for the export of products and for the implementation of investment projects in various sectors of the economy.


Within the framework of the exhibition, representatives of Resource Agribusiness Group discussed the potential for cooperation with poultry, vegetable oil and wheat processing companies, and held negotiations with members of the Iraqi Businessmen Union, as well.


An important point of the business program was the meeting with the chief veterinarian of the Republic. On the agenda was the issue of extending the veterinary certificate for the slaughterhouses of the Group in order to resume the supply of broiler chicken meat products, which had previously been carried out in 2018 and 2020.
