The XXIV Russian Exhibition of Breeding Sheep and Goats took place from May 23 to 25. This year, the Anzhi Arena stadium in the city of Kaspiysk again became the venue for it. More than 65 breeding farms from four federal districts of our country presented about 450 animals. In addition to animal demonstrations, the event included an extensive business program (scientific and practical conferences, round tables, seminars and master classes), performances by folk groups and an agricultural produce fair. More than 20 thousand of residents and guests of the Republic of Dagestan visited the exhibition.

Resource Agribusiness Group brought to the exhibition rams of the Volgograd and Southern Meat breeds, as well as breeds new to the Company – Île-de-France and Merinolandschaf. According to the conclusion of the expert commission, the stud ram raised by specialists of the Belyaev Sheep Breeding Complex of RZK Resource LLC got recognition as the best representative of the Southern Meat breed. The fact that Resource Agribusiness Group has received the status of a stud farm by this breed less than a year ago adds significant value to the high assessment. In the overall standings, the Company received one gold, two silver and two bronze, as well as an honorary cup and a valuable prize for third place in the most prestigious category “Best Sheep Farm”.
