Resource Agribusiness Group Along with ARRIAH and SPE AVIVAC Held Seminar for Veterinarians

On July 4, 2024, the seminar on issues of ensuring health and well-being of broiler chickens in industrial poultry farming was held in Stavropol. Heads of poultry farming departments, veterinarians and analysts of Resource Agribusiness Group from different regions of Russia were among the participants.

Among the speakers were experts from the Federal Center for Animal Health Protection (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance subunit) and AVIVAC, the leading Russian manufacturer of drugs for the specific prevention and diagnosis of infectious diseases of birds.

The program of the seminar included reports on biosecurity, use of live and inactivated vaccines, and the effectiveness of vaccine prevention in unfavorable epizootic conditions. Special attention was paid to the etiology of birds’ respiratory pathology, prevention and treatment of coccidiosis, salmonellosis, genotype VII Newcastle disease virus, as well as high- and low-pathogenic avian influenza.
