The Russian-Chinese Forum on Agricultural Cooperation was held in Moscow on October 29. The event was organized by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Russian Federation and the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia together with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

The opening of the Forum was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation Zhang Hanhui, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the PRC, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management of the Federation Council, as well as the Director General of the Russian Export Center Veronika Nikishina.

As an honorary speaker, Senior Vice President, Director of External Relations and GR of Resource Agribusiness Group Dmitry Antonov noted in his speech that China is one of the Company's key partners. Last year the share of Resource Agribusiness Group supplies in Russian poultry meat export to China was 22%. In addition to poultry meat among the certified products of the Company for the Chinese market are sunflower oil and flour. Moreover, in the future, Resource Agribusiness Group is planning to deliver their finished products for the Chinese market as well. Dmitry Antonov also drew attention to the high potential for cooperation between Russia and China in the field of joint development of technological equipment and components. In conclusion, he particularly emphasized the productive relations with partners and thanked consumers for their trust. 

The forum was organized to facilitate dialogue between entrepreneurs in China and Russia and strengthen cooperation between the two countries. During the event, representatives of relevant departments and the business community discussed prospects for developing cooperation between China and Russia in the field of agriculture and the agro-industrial complex and confirmed their readiness to make every effort for their implementation.
