Resource Agribusiness Group delegation arrived with the working visit at the capital of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on January 13 to 15 this year.

During the visit, Director of External Relations and Sustainable Development of Resource Agribusiness Group Dmitry Antonov took part in the official meeting between the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and the Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Tinh with representatives of business circles of both countries. Russian-Vietnamese cooperation issues on trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas were discussed on the sidelines of the event. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects, including those of the agroindustrial complex.

Representatives of Resource Agribusiness Group also held talks with Hoa Binh Construction Group (HBC). The joint-stock company is a leading general contractor in Vietnam and implements large-scale projects in the field of civil, industrial and infrastructure construction. In order to diversify its activities HBC is interested in developing imports of a wide range of food products to the Republic market as well as its own distribution.

Following the negotiations a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Resource Agribusiness Group and Hoa Binh Construction Group to formally secure mutual interest in further cooperation in the export of grain, poultry, vegetable oils and ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook products to Vietnam, as well as the import of fruits, coffee and other product categories from Vietnam to Russia.
