The President Vladimir Putin, who spoke at the main plenary session of the summit via videoconference, noted the updated composition of the organization: “This group has significantly grown and now includes leading states in Eurasia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. Together, we possess a vast political, economic, scientific, technological, and human potential.”
Resource Agribusiness Group representatives took part in the business program of the forum and held a number of business meetings on the sidelines of the event. Dmitry Antonov, Director for External Relations and Sustainable Development of Resource Agribusiness Group, participated as a speaker at the meeting of the BRICS Business Council Agribusiness Working Group and at the Russian-Brazilian Business Forum.
Gleb Nauruzov, the Head of the Resource Agribusiness Group project “International Cooperation”, discussed with Ms Busi Mabuza, the Chairperson of the South Africa Chapter of the BRICS Business Council, the Chair of the Board of Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa, the prospects for Russian poultry products opening to the South African market and the possibilities of reverse loading for exporters.
