Resource Agribusiness Group Attended Conference on Ensuring African Countries Food Sovereignty

International Conference on African Countries Food Sovereignty was held on November 20-21, 2025, in the capital of Ethiopia. The event in Addis Ababa was organized by Rossotrudnichestvo with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. Over 250 business, government, and science representatives from 15 African countries and Russia, including the Resource Agribusiness Group delegation, attended it.

The Agroexport Federal Center held the roundtable discussion "Russia-Africa: Strategic Partnership in the Agricultural Sector for Ensuring Food Sovereignty", which was one of the key events of the business program. Speakers' presentations focused on strengthening cooperation in food trade, as well as business and cultural ties between the countries and prospects for developing joint projects.

Dmitry Antonov, Director of External Relations and Sustainable Development, Resource Agribusiness Group, emphasized in his speech that supplies to African markets have always been a strategic priority for the Group's foreign economic activity. Libya, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and South Africa were brought as the key areas for further development of broiler chicken exports. Mr. Antonov announced the Company's readiness to ship hatching eggs, day-old chicks, compound feed and its components, as well as establishment of a joint production venture in Africa.
