Resource Agribusiness Group delegation participated in KazanForum 2026
14.05.2026Resource Agribusiness Group delegation took part in the 17th International Economic Forum "Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum” from 12 to 17 May 2026 in the capital of Tatarstan. The Group's representatives held meetings with business partners on the sidelines of the forum and attended a number of conferences, panel discussions and roundtables within the framework of the business program. Dmitry Antonov, Senior Vice President and Director for External Relations and Sustainable Development of Resource Agribusiness Group, delivered speech during two sessions on May, 14.
The first event was organized by the FESCO Transport Group and focused on the logistics of halal products that account for a significant share of international trade and generate a demand for specialized logistics solutions to meet halal standards at all stages of storage and transportation. In his speech, Dmitry Antonov spoke about many years of Resource Agribusiness Group experience in producing halal products from broiler chicken and lamb meat, the cooperation with specialized certification organizations, including the Halal Certification Center and Roskachestvo-Halal (Russian Quality Halal Certification), as well as the specifics of the halal logistics infrastructure.
The second session was held by the Russian-Emirati Business Council in cooperation with the UAE Embassy in the Russian Federation. The participants discussed the creation of a new cooperation architecture between Russia and the United Arab Emirates in the context of the structural transformation of the global food system. In particular, the report by the representative of Resource Agribusiness Group emphasized the importance of signing a free trade zone agreement between the UAE and the Eurasian Economic Union as well as the new opportunities to arise after its ratification.
"We are confident that the entry into force of the agreement will not only give an additional boost to mutual trade between our countries, but also enhance the status of Russia and the UAE as guarantors of food security in the countries of the region," said Dmitry Antonov. "This agreement involves the reduction and elimination of duties on poultry meat, lamb, sunflower oil, and other important export commodities for Resource Agribusiness Group. Moreover, we are ready not only to supply our products, but also to share our expertise in its production organization and participate in the establishment of full-cycle poultry enterprises in the UAE, providing them with our feed," he added.
